Arizona Hockey Publication Hits The Valley

Arizona Rubber Magazine launched to educate, promote

Arizona's ice and inline hockey community now has a voice.

Arizona Rubber Magazine, published by Minneapolis-based Good Sport Media, Inc., launched in April of 2006 and positions itself as the authoritative voice of ice and inline hockey in the desert.

With no association, league, age or gender left behind, Arizona Rubber's coverage blankets the state's youth programs all the way up through the pros. The magazine will also cover Arizona's booming lacrosse scene.

"Arizona's passion for hockey is second to none and we can't wait to be a part of its continued growth and success," said Brian McDonough, president of Good Sport Media. "Rubber is meant to serve as an educational resource while promoting and exposing the great accomplishments of every program in the Valley."

The publication will be printed 10 times annually with complementary distribution in every rink, pro shop and sporting goods store in Arizona.

Subscriptions to Arizona Rubber can be purchased for $29.95 through www.arizonarubber.com, with all monies directed towards the "OneGoal" program, an initiative spearheaded by USA Hockey, among other organizations, designed to grow hockey's participation at the grassroots level.

"Our success goes hand-in-hand with Arizona hockey's success," McDonough added. "We're looking forward to working closely with every team and association to help raise the awareness of the sport."
