Samuelsson commits to Boston College

Philip Samuelsson has committed to Boston College.

The former P.F. Chang's product and Scottsdale resident and son of Coyotes assistant coach Ulf Samuelsson is set to join the Team USA U18 squad for the Five Nations Tournament.

In 37 games this season for the USHL's Chicago Steel, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound defenseman has 11 assists and 42 PIMs.

Samuelsson will join the Eagles next season.
