Sting's Fan Fest set for December 8
The second annual Arizona Sting Fan Fest will take place on Friday, December 8, at Jobing.com Arena from 6-9 p.m. Members of the Sting will be on hand to interact with fans and take part in an inter-squad match. Admission at this event is free.
Attendees of the Fan Fest will have the unique opportunity to meet and mingle with their favorite Sting players from 6-8 PM, as well as win prizes and take part in a variety of interactive games and activities, including getting the chance to go on the turf where the pros play and take shots on Sting goaltenders.
Activities offered include:
- On-field shoot around with Sting goalies
- On field Scoop 'n Shoot contest
- Autograph Booth with Sting Players
- Trivia Contest
- "Be A Player" Photo Booth with Sting players
- Youth Lacrosse Info Fair
- Kids' Corner featuring Fun & Games for Children
- Play-by-play announcer booth
- Q&A Forum with Head Coach/GM Bob Hamley
- Photo opportunities with the new Stingette cheerleaders
Following the interactive portion of the Fan Fest, attendees will be able to get a sneak preview of the 2007 Arizona Sting, as an inter-squad match will take place from 8-9 p.m. on the Jobing.com Arena turf.
The Arizona Sting is a professional indoor lacrosse team playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Their home games are played at the Jobing.com Arena and their season runs annually from January-April. For more information, please visit www.ArizonaSting.com.
