Patty Kaz award ceremony set for Minneapolis

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, bestowed annually upon the top player in NCAA Division I women’s ice hockey, will be presented for the 13th time on Saturday, March 20, at a brunch ceremony at the University of Minnesota's McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis. Held in conjunction with the NCAA Women’s Frozen Four (March 19 & 21), the event will take place at 10 a.m. CT.

Tickets to the 2010 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award ceremony may be purchased by calling 719-538-1184; or by emailing or faxing a completed ticket form (located at PattyKaz.com). Individual seats are $75, while tables of 10 are available for $700.

NOTES: The Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award is an award of The USA Hockey Foundation ... The top-10 finalists for the award will be announced on March 2, while the top-three selections will be released on March 9 ... The award is named in honor of the late Patty Kazmaier, who was a four-year varsity letter-winner and All-Ivy League defenseman for Princeton University from 1981-86.
