Sun Devil roller teams complete successful regular seasons
ASU coach Jimmy Woods and his Sun Devils look on from the bench as all-star forward Matt Hamilton pursues the puck in ASU's win over Saddleback College to clinch an undefeated season.
The Arizona State Division I and Division II roller hockey teams completed the 2009-10 regular season this month, finishing a combined 35-1-0 on the year.
The Division I Devils went 19-1-0, winning 19 straight games after losing the opening game of the season. The team set a record for least goals allowed in a single season and their 19-1-0 record is the best in D-I history.
The Division II Devils went 16-0-0, completing the only undefeated season in league history. The team set a record for most goals scored in a single season with 140.
