P.F. Chang's U18s go 3-0-1 over weekend, lead MWEHL

P.F. Chang's U18 AAA hockey went 3-0-1 over the weekend and are now atop the MidWest Elite Hockey League with nine points through eight games.

The squad opened the weekend with two wins Friday -- 5-1 over Russell Stover and 6-5 over the L.A. Junior Kings -- then tied the Dallas Stars, 2-2, Saturday before dominating the Colorado Rampage Sunday, 7-1.

At home for the first time this season, P.F. Chang's rebounded from a 1-3 weekend in Dallas Sept. 12-14.

Mike Adamowicz had four goals and three assists over the weekend, and Dan Anderson and Mike Krieg each had two goals and two assists apiece.

Taylor Boldt had four assists, while Aaron Ave recorded a goal and three assists. John Murray also notched two goals and an assist.

The team next plays in Chicago Oct. 11-13.
